Jessica Megarry
Jessica is a Junior Editor at Gender Across Borders. She has a BA with majors in Literature, Politics and Italian. After completing an internship at the Australian Embassy in Rome, she worked as Education Program Coordinator at the United Nations Association of Australia, where she was in charge of the Model United Nations Conference Program.
Over the last few years she has spent time in Rome and Edinburgh, and while she is passionately in love with her hometown of Melbourne, her mind is always half somewhere else.
Jess is currently completing her Honours year at the University of Melbourne. Her thesis will focus on issues surrounding women speaking in the public realm, and the threatening abuse they often receive when they voice their opinions online. A great time to start blogging? She will soon find out.
