Chally Kacelnik
Chally Kacelnik, a Staff Writer at Gender Across Borders, is a lifelong resident of Sydney, Australia, where she is double majoring in history and English by day. By night, she’s a freelance writer specialising in social justice and books, and has served as writer, speaker, and advisor for various feminist websites, conferences, and projects worldwide. She always has her laptop at the ready for new questions and ideas that range into the messy or expansive.
Chally is also a former newspaper columnist, a drama school grad, a community volunteer, an eater of cake, a voracious reader (ask her about feminist science fiction), and the human companion of two orange guinea pigs. Her favourite activities include normal things like knitting, but also developing her fondness for dancing in the rain in her pyjamas and maintaining her faith in human goodness.
Chally’s home blog is Zero at the Bone, and you can also check out her freelancing website. She’s on Twitter as @ChallyWrites and reachable by email at chally [at] genderacrossborders [dot] com.
